that's obscenely low.....

 

2001 saturn Sc2 with 100k on it get 39.55 mpg with a cold air kit and catback exaust. Use only synthetic oil ( Though it burns a half a quart per tank of gas ) and I drive 160 miles a day round trip to work at about 65 mph. 12.1 gallon tank got just over 450 miles once without running out of feul.
