Anybody have a problem with the AC blowing cold on the driverside and not really hot, but Luke warm on passenger side? It dose eventually get kinda cold but takes like 10 minutes? Thanks for any input..

 

Sounds like one or more of the stepper motors that control the position of "doors" which direct air within the HVAC system are not functioning properly.

The motors can go bad, the arms that attach to the doors can pop out of their tracks, or the head unit can partially fail, sending the wrong voltage and therefore the wrong position info to the motor.

If you change the temp setting or the position setting and hear a repetetive clicking noise .one or more arms may be out of their tracks. If you hear a gear grinding noise, one or more of the motors may have a stripped gear.
