battery went dead on my 02 l300. the tow truck driver tried to jump the battery but did not work. replaced the battery and now the radio is dark. it is not locked it is dead. worked great before. thought maybe it was the fuses so i checked the one on the driver side and it looked good. did not check under hood because i don''t know where to look. any ideas on what the problem might be or how to fix. dealer said it would cost $100 dollars to put on machine to find the problem and them whatever it cost to fix.

Actually, there is more than one fuse under the passengers side. First, a 10 amp fuse from theIGN(RADIO), then another 10 amp fuse from the BAT(RADIO) next to it. Also, if you have the OEM CD changer, there is a 5 amp fuse CD(RIA) as well.

From what you describe, I would suspect the BAT(RADIO) fuse is bad

Thanks. It was the fuses. One in the right side fuse box, and one under the hood fuse. Works great.
