hello im relatively new to this. and im going to be getting an automatic tranny 3.0L L300 very soon. every car ive ever driven has been manual, and on the off chance i drive an auto like my friend''s mustang or something i feel like there is a bit of pedal lag and i have zero control in low grip situations, (i live in buffalo). im 17 so im not like a veteran of anyhting really and was wondering if anyone has ever taken the tranny from the manual 2.2L version of this vehicle and swapped the stick shift one for their 3.0L auto one.

 

Saab had a manual trans behind their version of the L81 but your computer
would throw a fit not seeing the auto there.

 

Not worth the effort.

 

I was looking for a stick until I learned that I could flat tow with this automatic.
