Default L300

While taking my wife to a doctors appointment yesterday, I noticed a black car I was coming up on that had a Saturn logo on the trunk. I look on the right side and it shows V-6. On the left, L300. That's the first one I've seen and I have to say, that's a damned fine looking car. I don't know much about the V-6 in the Saturns, but haven't heard much good about the transmissions they coupled to them if it's the same one that's in the Vue. What do you guys have to say about these cars? I like the way they look and may be in the market for a new "used" vehicle in the next few months.

So is this a 4l40e or a 4l45e? I can probably look it up in the tech section.
