Hard accel = no speed & high engine revs
2005 L300 :
starts, runs, idles all just fine. No shaking or hard shifting or anything but when I hard accelerate the car stops gaining speed and the engine just revs high. But if I remove my foot from the gas and reapply everything is back to normal. What should I be looking at with said issue?

No codes, no check engine. Its doesn't idle high noticeably n e way. It drives smooth jut the issue only is at the time of quick acceleration but during this issue theres no shaking or sputtering or funny noises just the rpm rev of the motor which sounds normal.
Does this happen on level ground or when you're going uphill? I'm not a mechanic, but it sounds to me like either it's transmission slipping or a catalytic converter that's clogging up on you. How many miles on it?
Well ya know I honestly didn't try to see if it was in every gear good idea I just know the straight away here instead 55 mph and cruising at that speed is when I would check it out and floor it. I'll have to do some research tomorrow and get back to you on this thank you.
