recently bought a saturn l300 that was in need of a little bit of work.

the big issue is that the gauge backlighting and theatre lighting do not turn on but the odometer and all warning lights work fine and in addition when i turn the lights off of "auto" the shifter lights also turn off. ive tried replacing and testing the lights, all work fine with a 9v battery. all fuses look good but i have no multimeter to test with. any thoughts? if i can give any additional information please, let me know.

 

Welcome, please go through the new member area and do the new member thing. We need more information about your L. Like what year it is. Different years take different light switches and they don’t work if in the wrong application.
