Hey, I was curious as to if a 2004 l300 trunk lid will fit on a 2002 body. It just looks better and I'd like to know if anyone has tried.
Thanks in advance

02lw200 aka Andy, should be able to answer that one. I'm pretty sure they're interchangeable, but NOT positive. What say you, Andy?

I believe the lid interchanges, the trim panel is different to match the taillight.

Hey Andy, my son has been watching an 04(?) Ion on craigslist that he likes. He's waiting to get his tax refund and if it's still for sale, wants to go look at it. Are you aware of anything specific we should look at closely or be wary of?

Just stay away from the cvt belt drive transmission. The regular automatic and the stick are fine. The engines are pretty trouble free from 03 on. They have the improved timing chain design.
