I am having issues with my cruise, brake lights, and shift interlock. The cruise control will not engage. It worked and then it didn't. The brake lights are not coming on. Not sure when that started, possibly at the same time as the cruise problem. Lastly, the shift interlock does not keep me from shifting out of park without applying the brakes. Not sure when that started either. So, my question is, could all three have a common issue like the brake switch? I know the cruise and brake lights could but what about the interlock? Is there something else in common to these three systems? And the last question, there are two identical switches on the brake pedal. I cannot find any info on if one is for the cruise and the other the brake lights and which one is which. I appreciate any help in pointing me in a direction.

 

I will look in the factory service manual and report back tomorrow.
