I come out of the house and the car starts fine. If I drive a couple of miles and stop the car it will not start. The engine turns but will not start. If I spray starting fluid in the air cleaner the car will start and run fine. It seems to be intermittent because yesterday I had no problems. I never seem to have a problem when the unit is cold but only when I drive it a couple of miles and shut it off.

I found the problem - The crank sensor was breaking down when the engine got warm. I had an error code for the speed sensor andon the third day the auto would stall at a stop sign. The crank sensor fixed everything.

Outstanding..................happy you found the problem. A throttle postion sensor can cause the same sort of thing. So if it happens to you in the future you have a couple of things to look at.
