Default Strange clicking under dash

I had a strange clicking coming from under the dash at idle when it was colder outside. Anyone ever heard of this? Thanks!

Something stuck in the blower motor?

Maybe a climate control blend or fresh air servo motor has stripped and is no longer operating the door correctly?

Do you get full proper function out of the HVAC system (hot=hot, warm = warm, cold = cold?

Just a guess given the limited information provided

Not a sound like anything in the blower. I do have full temp variance from cool to hot. Trying to think of a better way to describe the noise but only heard it briefly a couple of times. Thought it might be a common well known noise in these cars. Thanks for the input guys.

I have the same issue. Sounds like its coming from behind the glove compartment? My clicking also speeds up when I accelerate. I've been looking for it for the last couple winters with no luck. Once it warms up, the sound goes away.

This sounds very familiar both in sound and location to a post already on this site but I can't place it in my mind.

If I'm not mistaken, it did have something to do with a fresh air door motor not working correctly with the motor gear making a ticking noise. The user may have actually even posted a video so we could hear the sound.

Dig around with the advanced search function of the forum.

I know it's here.....

I think I'm having this issue. It makes a tap/thump sound but goes off with certain settings. I found that turning the recirculating button or (or is it off? &#129300 stops the tapping/thumping.

That tap thump sound could be the blend door.
