Hello,


I have a 2000 LS and the RPM goes to 4 or 5 without pressing on the accelerator. Anyone knows what could be the promblem?

Sounds like a bad TPS, but let us figure out the issue before we start changing parts with reckless abandon ... is the service engine light on, and if so, you need to have the codes read. AutoZone (or similar) stores will usually do this for you gratis ...

The service engine light is on... I will have it scanned today and let you know about it. Is the TPS expensive?

Depending on what the codes tell us, you might not need a TPS ...
