I tend to write books too so u will get no complaints from me for that! Lol! Thanks for all the info! I will hunt down that resistor pack & see if that’s where my problem lies!

Strut question
 
So the Saturn has been parked for a couple months cuz the cv axle went out on me & I had a Ford F-150 to drive but now the Ford has started having issues so I need to get the Saturn bk on the road if I can!
When I pulled the tire off to look at the cv axle, I noticed there is a red rubber ball-like piece that looks like slid down the bar at the top of the strut...The other side doesn’t have one of those that I can see...is that a bad thing? I don’t see anything else wrong with the strut & cant find anything about the rubber piece anywhere online!

Oh yeah! As an update...I found that short in the heater wires the night b4 the cv axle broke! It is in the cluster of wires up in the area that the resistor goes! I’m not even worried bout that anymore tho...I got all summer to fix that! Lol!
