How many miles do you have on that Mopar? LOL

That belongs to my youngest daughter, it has about 175k. I have a new alternator, ignition switch and harness end for it. It is a 2002 3.8 awd limited. Good rig.

I still wish I had my 99 Grand Caravan. 3.3 liter engine and had nearly 200,000 on it when I traded it in for the PT Cruiser. What a stupid move on my part.

If this 2.4 ever dies in our stratus, I plan on swapping it with a 2.7 or 3.3 v6. Just waiting for the day. Drove that thing with almost no oil in it several times and still going strong. Makes me respect mopar even more.

Be very careful if you are considering the 2.7L V6. It's a very peppy engine, but is unforgiving if you do not meticulously maintain it. Even then, it has quirks (water pump driven by timing chain) that make for a lot of work. I had one in a 2002 Intrepid that I really liked, but I regularly changed (and checked) the oil and did other maintenance tasks. It was totaled when a guy hit my wife head on in an intersection.

Stay away from the early model 2.7's. Pieces of crap. About the 4th year into them, Mopar redesigned the oil galleries and from then on it was a pretty good engine. 3.2 is pretty much a direct swap. 3.3 is one of the best damned Mopar engines I ever owned. My 99 Grand Caravan had about 200,000 miles on it when I traded it for a PT Cruiser. I loved the turbo in the PT GT, but that 3.3 is STILL greatly missed. Other than regular maintenance on it, all I ever had to replace was the water pump.
