Light on in my car

I have a light that stays on in my car. It is on the dash board. It is a car with a lock through it. I have a 2004 Saturn L300. Can someone tell me what this light is?

When does the light come on? If it is when you take the key out it may be related to the GM Passlock system.

Are there any other lights (such as service lights or warning lights) also lit?

You wrote that the light was ''on all the time''. Is there any conditions where that light blinks on and off?
