L300 4 dr Sedan Driver Seat Swap and Info

Hi everybody,
My mother has a 2004 L300 sedan. Since she's 83 and short she has a hard time seeing over the steering wheel and subsequently has a habit of murdering rims and tires at an exhausting, and expensive rate.
Her stock seat is manual with no height adjustment so I would like to swap in a powered seat for her from a junk yard with the raise/lower option but I'm not sure if this can be done without rewiring..
So I'm hoping someone here can help me with some information.
Is there an electrical connection all ready wired in from the factory so I can just plug in a powered seat if I can find one?
I tried to look under the seat but there's not much room to get a good look. I did see a connector connected to the seat even though it's a manual seat.
I'm not sure if it has the heated seat option, I'll check tomorrow.
Here are two pics of the connector under the seat-

Sorry they're not very good. I can try to get better images tomorrow if it will help.
Any information would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

That plug is probably for the air bag sensor, IDK. BUT if you really want to find out, you'll need to remove that seat and possibly the door sill plate and look under the carpet for any other plugs. Andy is our resident L series guru and I'm sure when he sees this post, that he can answer your questions. Have you tried a wedge shaped cushion for your Mom? My mother was 5'2" tall and always had a problem with my Dad's big Mopars. She ALWAYS had a cushion to sit on when she was driving.

I think all L series cars are wired for heated electric seats. Slide the seat all the way forward and remove the two torx bolts in the back of the tracks. Tilt the entire seat forward and pull the seat back out of the front hooks. Disconnect the wiring. There are mechanical ratcheting height adjusting seats, electric cloth seats and electric leather seats out there.

Through reading for days about these seats I've become aware that there are also mechanical seats that can be raised and lowered, but still good information.
As far as a cushion goes, we've tried several different cushions over the years. I think it's a combination of the seat sagging more each year as well her getting shorter with age.
So I figured the best thing would be a seat with a better cushion built in and the ability to be raised.
I had already decided that the best way to find out what wiring is under the seat would be to pull it out. But again, thank you for the suggestion. And removing the door sill plate is something I had not yet considered.
Since we had another cold spell hit here in Pa I won't be pulling the seat until sometime next week. Then I'll be able to take more in depth pictures to post.
I'm still not sure what the wiring is for. You both might be right. It's probably either heated seat or air bag control.
In the meantime: If someone could suggest which years and models would have the vertically adjustable seats that would drop right in that would be a great help.
I put some of the basic vehicle info in my signature but just ask and I'll post whatever I have about this car.
Since it was originally my Step Father's car until he passed away she doesn't want to get rid of it, I just need to figure out how to get her eyeballs over the steering wheel and dashboard.
Thanks again for the help so far.

I will look up the wiring schematic and list the wire colors for all the seat options. The seat belt latch has two wires to it to see if the seat belt is being used. Any model above the base model can have the better seats.

orange and black are hot and ground for the power seat, black and brown are the heat circuits, the smallest wires are seat belt sensors.

Thank you for the pics 02 LW300,
Is that in the Haynes manual? I have one somewhere for my Mother's L300, I'll have to dig it out.
If we get a warm, dry day next week I'll pull the seat out and get some pics of the wiring, the seat, and frame.

I know what you mean about shrinking with age. At my Moms peak height, she was 5'2" tall. When she died at age 101, she was 4'8" tall. We joked about her purchasing a childs coffin for her funeral, but for some reason, she insisted on a full sized 6' coffin. Mom was a pistol.
