Default L200 high idle problem

Timing chain jumped on my 2002 L200 and had to replaced the head and timing chain. Now idles at 1800 rpms. Idles constant up and down. Checked with hand held computer got error code P0507(high idle) and P0107(map sensor). Replaced the map sensor and checked the idle air control valve. Appears to be fine. When clearing the codes the engine will idle down and radiator fan will shut down for a second and then idle goes back up to 1800. I'm stumped. Does it need to be reset with the computer? Is this something I can do or does it need to be done by a dealer?

I'd be looking for a vacuum leak first. Try disconnecting the battery ground cable for five minutes and see it that will reset the computer if you don't find any vacuum leaks. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

im leaning toward the vacuum leaks as well also the iac valve can be stuck and did u torque the head and intake manifold to proper specs?
