Start with searching something called the internet or maybe a place called e-bay.

I have not looked exactly at the manuals carried in places like O'Rielly's. I have at time bought them there though. They are Mitchels, or Chilton's or some other name, there seems to be about 4 manufacturers of them and they are better than nothing and handy to have around. There have been times that having them meant having the only available knowledge in how to fix something. So I would go to one of the autoparts stores you frequent that carries them and ask if they don't have one, can it be ordered. They are $30.00 ish, and you can save that the first time you use one by not breaking something or going to something that is the right part first.

Phoo, that was a great price! When it comes down to it, over the years I have amassed quite a collection of service literature on it's own merrits. Last year I spotted a 1935 MOTORS manual, a publication that some how managed to cover a wide range of automobiles in it's day (As did Chiltons also) and I tried to purchase one every 3 years or so as each one seemed to cover 4 years with of production changes. Thus giving me over time a fair reference library no matter what I bought as a used car. Now if I ever own a Duesenberg or a Graham, I can deal with one. Oh wishful thinking!
