Can the timer for the dome light on a 2002 Saturn L200 wear out? Is it replacable. My daughter bought a L200 (Did not come with a remote) and when you open the door (with the dome light switch set to "door") the light turns on for a nano-second then turns off. The dome light works fine when the "On" is activated.

 

Sounds like a bad or dirty connection on the switch on the light.
