Default Dash light control wiring block...

2003 Saturn L200 with 80,000 miles.

I have the 'flickering' dash light issue and from my reading and after watching a Youtube video removed, cleaned and repaired the adjusting potentiometer (pot), and replaced a bad convenience 12V incandescent bulb with an LED + resistor. The resistance device is now nice and smooth and the R reading is stable through out the range.

Replacing the repaired module, it still flickers. Further reading indicated that there is a terminal that has too many loads on it and it gets overheated and causes the flickering (in addition to the pot being dirty). This is, as I gathered, on the back of the fuse/relay block inside the compartment to the left of the drivers left foot. I opened the cover to that and boy is it tight and hard to figure out how to remove it. I can't see any screws but that maybe due to my eyesight.

I damaged an eye around a year ago so I only have 1.5 eyes and can't see how I can get that module out!

Has anyone removed this fuse/relay module to repair that bad connection? Is that the correct place to find that poor connection? And if so, can you give me some hints as to how to remove the block to access that terminal? I assume it's on the back of the block.

Thanks for any help.

I can't find any aid in that link that tells me where it is or how to access it. If you know where the info is, I'd appreciate a heads up under which category tree I could find the info.

GRCAuto...and what does the instrument panel removal have to do with the well known issue with flickering dash, shift lever, and accessory lights? You didn't read my post well at all so just scroll on by next time someone asks for help.

If I remember correctly the BCM controls the instrument cluster lighting. The dimmer runs on 5 volts and the BCM uses PWM voltage to power the dash cluster lights on the 2002 cars. I can pull the FSM tomorrow if it helps. Worked a couple doubles this week and it is tough to catch up on sleep.
