Default 2002 lw300 cel p0606

I did a search for this issue, but didn't find anything specific for this year model.

So, driving home tonight in my 2002 LW300 Wagon I suddenly lost power (Reduced Power Light came on) along with both Service Lights. I slowed to about 10 MPH, turned off the engine, then restarted and was able to resume my drive home.

After getting home, I checked the codes and got a P0606. I'm thinking this may be the PCM. Anyone have an issue like this?

Some questions:

1> Is P0606 typically a PCM issue?
2> Is the PCM located under / behind the dash? (I looked in the engine compartment, but didn't see it).
3> Am I correct in thinking the dealer will have to flash the unit?

Thanks for any help.

be careful with this one. It may be a one time deal. It may be the result of other codes and therefore be non representative

I bought this vehicle for $2K about 6 months ago and mainly use it as a daily commuter (don't want to put more miles on my Sky). Therefore, I consider this car a "disposable" vehicle, so I'm hesitant to sink a lot of money just to keep it running. So far, it's been a fantastic car; hope it stays that way.
