Have a 2002 L200, has 140,000 miles and am just noticing a mild clunking when I steer or go over a bump. The CV joints are good, it actually feels like slop in the rack and pinion, is there any adjustment to it...possibly a worn shaft bearing (like I had with the Cavalier

I got hold of a very helpful person at Saturn Corp. and they tell me there is a "Gear Kit" TSB-04-02-35-008A Bulletin on this.
They are shown to be improved parts and not just more of the same and if my dealers diagnosis concurs it can be replaced at no charge.
