I need to replace the exaust manifold on my 2001 L200.

I found a used one, but it may be for a 2004. Anyone know if this part changed between 2001 and 2004? Or is it a fair bet that it would be the same.

Thank you,

Mike

well it should be the same as long as the manifold is from the L300.1 and not the L300.2 or .3.

There are also alot of other cars i believe that work in the saturn like a cavalier, cobalt, malibu, grand am. Basically anything that had that 2.2L ecotec engine. Try looking here also for used parts www.car-part.com

Thank you for the reply.

Yes, the car I''m working on is a 2001 L200 4 cylinder.

The exaust manifold is from a 2004 L200. It''s a 4 cylinder unit, so I guess it should be OK. At least I think that is what you were stating.

Thanks again for the reply.

well i think in 2004 there was no such thing as a L200, they changed it to being called the L300.1

But yes it sounds like you should be ok

Gotcha. Thanks again for the info.

I''ll have a mechanic digging in to it any day now. Won''t really know about the fit until he gets in to it. But, it looks very similar and the replacement (used) part has the heat shield on it too. From the view I get from under the hood, the heat shield looks the same.

Thanks again.
