Default 2.2 leaking oil on the back of the valve cover

2001 L series with 2.2, the odometer tracks correct mileage and reads 544,800, runs great started leaking oil real bad around back of valve cover. I thought I would replace the PCV valve and bought a new one to find out it does not have one. So I just tightened the bolts on the valve cover gasket.

Any other things to check for or recommendations?

Thank you,

Richard

I recommend replacing the valve cover gasket. It involves removing the coil pack and moving the wiring on the belt end of the engine.
