Default SEAT COVER INSTALL - 2004 Ion

How do you install seat covers when the seat belt guide that is on the headrest is sticking out? I bought some bucket seat seat covers and this isn't working. And all of the photos I see when I search seat covers do not show anything with the seatbelt guide on it. Am I SOL?

How is it held on? If there's just a couple of screws, remove them, remove the guide and put the seat cover on. You SHOULD be able to feel the holes so you just then punch a small hole in the cover for the screw, put the guide in place and put the screws in. If it's built into the seat, then I guess you're S.O.L. unless you cut the seat cover.

If the seat belt holder was designed to go on, it's designed to come off.

Unless there is some sort of draconian fastener, it should come off. Possibly with torx screws which Saturn loved to use, especially on everything.
