So i have a 2003 saturn ion sedan. My issue is i was reinstalling the belt tensioner after a head gasket replacement and i dropped the bolt in this weird body cavity. Its in the wheel well where you put the bolt through what looks like the frame kinda. Anyway the bolt fell down there and my question is, is there any way to get it out and if not will it be okay there?

 

Maybe try a telescoping magnet? Put it in the hole and push it down and move it around? IDK, just speculating. Maybe you'll have to take the fender loose?

 

I found a hole near the front kinda that was big enough to get a set of pliers in and grab it but thanks for the help! Telescoping magnet likely would have helped.
