Well maybe we can get some others to post a few pictures of the ION they drive. This ones mine. 2007 I-3 2.4L with a few mods. Progress drop springs bout a 1.6/1.8 drop on the factory 16" tires.

Good looking car. Here is mine. I have some plans such as new wheels and lowering it. I already tinted the windows.

 

Yep you can make that poor ugly little ION look purdy good. I used the progress springs on the white one. Have tryed others on IONs but the progress don't beat you to death and are still stiff enough to help on the twisties. Added a strut bar and the progress rear swaybar that I think is worth it's weight in gold. No camber kits are needed just a good alignment. If the shocks/struts needed replacing Factory or KYB work well. Aftermarket strut mounts are worthless.....get em from the dealer. Get a clunk on sharp bumps be sure to check front swaybar bushing and end links. Swaybar metal straps/mounts have been changed so get those from the dealer.

 

Sons silver 2.4L ION riding on Progress springs 215/45X17's. Next to it is my youngest Daughters ION-2.

 

Oldest Daughters silver ION-3 riding on Progress springs and 205/55X16's. Took the Tien springs out rode like crap. Tried Eibach's not low enough great ride. Few friends run Megan's and like them, and a nice drop.
