The excellent service facility I've been using for nearly 20 years has long been affiliated with Mitchell1's OwnerAutoSite.com, where I can view my car's service history with this facility. My facility recently seems to have become affiliated with Carfax and I don't know how that will affect their affiliation with Mitchell1. But that's not my issue right now. I'm concerned about Carfax because their privacy policy states that they can collect information about me which, in my opinion, is none of their business (for example, website browsing history and more).

Does anyone have an affiliation with Carfax, and can they be trusted? Thanks.
