I have a leak coming from the back side of my transmission the side closet to the firewall I’m not seeing any cracks it’s hard for me to see in that location because of the previous owner putting things what they thought was good is there any type of lines or anything that I’m just not able to see

 

What engine/transmission do you have? They had 4 cylinders with both manual and automatic transmissions and v6 models.

 

Only 4 bangers in the Ion mate.

back side is probably an axle seal
