That makes not much sense to be coil related. Maybe borderline low compression, builds w warm up, bu cyl 4 cannot withstand the boost pressure due to ring problem and all goes to hell. with the cyl not holding pressure, hence a misfire.
Disable boost and try iy N/A and see if it responds the same

Dipstick hasn't popped out in forever, including a couple full boost runs past 6500 RPM... I bet, due to VCG being shot, but that's not the point... I'm still betting on coils, as the plugs are same kind I was running with much success, and are brand new, not five miles on them...
And when cold, it still cranks over like it has been since the issue with cyl1... Were the compression on 4 down, it would sound weak on two cylinders, instead of just one... Easiest way to gauge relative compression(roughly) is to floor the accelerator(cutting fuel off) and crank the engine for 10-15 sec... You can hear each cylinder cycling, and ever since the issue with 1, it sounded weak compared to the other three... But as of late, it's been getting stronger relative to the others

Im curious, did you ever find out if your injector was still dumping fuel into one of the cylinders? I read all of the thread and my memory fades me alittle but if it was washing down a cylinder I would be concerned with fuel getting past the rings and contaminating the oil, therby with every run the problem will slowly get worse, and worse and worse. correct me if im wrong though, i hope to be corrected. I remember when I had to do coils my car would throw a code when cold but no noticable missfire.
Well, I haven't removed them, so I don't know for sure, but last I checked, they were still all clicking like they should at idle... Compression on cyl1 hasn't continued to degrade, but has improved, from 105# warm to 120# warm
So, i ordered some ZZP coils and valve cover gasket, and they should be here before I go back to work(ZZP has awesome customer service), so I'm going to have my car running decently again... I'm also going to widen the spark plug gap to .040 as recommended by ZZP and see how that affects idle performance... I'll wait for better weather to tackle the VCG... However, I'm thinking about getting an old oil filler cap and make some vent holes in it to alleviate crankcase pressure buildup...
So, my redline is legal again and will accumulate some more miles while this other LSJ gets finished... I changed the oil to conventional and added some more of the "rebuild in a can" in hopes of getting cyl 1 to seat back in and build compression again, the time I drove it with the dead coil on cyl 1 dropped the compression back to around 90psi, which is understandable since it was dumping unburnt fuel mixture past the rings...
