The Aura XR and CTS first generation are a great comparison. The general size of the two vehicles is very close. In terms relative to comfort, ride, handling and performance they are both very good but to me, the XR looks much cleaner as opposed to the CTS looking like the F-117 with all the sharp corners on the body. I found the smooth ride of my XR to be equal to that of the CTS and in terms relative to cabin noise at speed the XR is so quiet it will put you to sleep. The seats of my XR are equally as comfortable as the Cadillac as well. In all, I took the Aura because of looks, simplicity and overall design.
