Default Mirror

My thanks in advance to anyone who can answer my question(s).

I have a 2007 Saturn XE. The rear view mirror was cracked and discolored, so I went to a local self-service junk yard and purchased one. After installing it, the auto-dim didn't work. I returned to the junk yard and purchased another - this time from an Aura XR, not an Aura XE. It also did not work - won't even power on. I've noticed, while shopping the junk yards and looking at all of the Auras (XE and XR), there are several different mirrors available. I have also considered that it could be a fuse. I've been searching online (using google) trying to determine if there is a specific mirror that I need to have for my vehicle (and for fuse/relay locations to check), but haven't been able to find this specific information anywhere. I even asked several GM dealers and its website.

1.) Do I need a particular mirror, and which one?
2.) What fuses (and locations of the fuses) need to be checked? (NOTE: I located a relay in the fuse box in the trunk (#33), and it tested OK)
3.) Does anyone know which wire in the connector to the mirror supplies the power and/or what the value should be?

I am frustrated that I have not been able to find a resource that would contain all of this information (and more). If anyone is aware of such a resource (I have found this info for other vehicles in Factory Service Manuals), I would appreciate your letting me know.

From the Charm manual (see the included link) the automatic day night inside mirror is powered by the POWER MIRRORS fuse in the BCM. See this link for a description, and note that this is an online FSM for the 2007 Aura. 2007 Aura Inside Rear View Mirror

Thank you much. I will check this out sometime tomorrow and let you know how it goes.

I will also check out the full manual from Charm.

Thanks again.
