Drives & Starts normally but once stopped won’t start again for about an hour or so
I had payed $100 for a full diagnostic & they had said it was a computer piece that was like $800 but I was wondering if I could just get that piece whatever it is at a junkyard since maybe it can just be a plug n play. It drives & starts normal and will drive for however long and won’t heat up or anything, but once turned off won’t start up again for another hour or so.

Would like to help but need more info. There are way too many possibilities given just that info.
Could you please type in their diagnosis from the invoice, including any "codes" they found like Pxxxx, Bxxxx, etc. and the parts required to fix it.
Their diag may or may not be correct but we'll at least know what they looked at.

It is common for vehicles in the process of stalling to throw a "near stall" code as well as a low voltage code as the vehicle fails to continue to produce the required current to keep the vehicle running.
The fact that there is no injector signal and no spark and the manner in which it stalls and won't start seems consistent with a failing CKP (crank position sensor).
However,, I am not positive that the PCM in the aura uses the same logic as earlier Saturn vehicles.
I'm not sure what that relay damage is about. It was probably arcing internally.

Did you ever figure out the problem?. I have the same issue here with a 2008 Saturn Aura Xr 3.6L engine, however if i jump the starter relay the car cranks, but i have replaced the relay itself and still no crank, only when i jump the starter relay in the fuse box. It will start the next day, sometimes even hours later.
