I suggest you search the net for an Astra specific forum.
If anyone knows the symptoms and where to get parts, it'll be them.

We simply don't have Astra owners come through very often on our forum.

Not trying to get rid of you -- trying to help you solve your issue.

 

Had similar issue with my redline. Had a chaffed wire between the pedal and throttle body.
The throttle body would set a separate code if it was the issue. Go fast pedal isnt getting proper communication to where the throttle body butterfly location is.

Id start with looking over the wiring harness.

 

Probably not close to east texas. Id be willing to take a look.
