I have a 01 SC2 owe about $1000 on it. As it stand Im am going to need a timing kit w/ labor about $650.


The mechanic said the car runs great and everything else was fine but the timing chain. It has 205,000 miles on it


I guess Im asking, if it were you would you pay for the repair or sell it and get a new car. Im on the fence.

that seems like a rip off to me for just replacing the chain and nothing else...idk id look around for moree quotes

but to me if you can get a better price it worth to do. better than having to buy another car
