i have a ''99 saturn sc2. have really enjoyed the car except for a problem
that has been happening for years....wet floorboards on the driver and
passenger sides of the car! where is this water coming from? it''s really bad
after it rains, but then, like tonight, no rain for days but i touched the floor
of the car and it was just soaked. where is the water coming from? which
drains are clogged? how do i keep this from happening over and over and
over again?

Well, if your car has a sunroof installed, I would hazard the guess that the drains for it are clogged. There are several threads on here that describe both the problem and the solution thoroughly.

If you do not have a sunroof, then the other possibility is that the condensate drain for the A/C has become clogged. This is an infrequent issue, but again, it has been previously written up in the forums.

I doubt that you have a damaged water line, because the acrid smell of the antifreeze coupled with the coloration of the fluid would give that away quickly.

Clear out the sunroof drains.
