My brothers 1994 SC2 Saturn has a problem with the driver side pop up headlight. The moters are good still the problem seems to be some kind of tie rod that's snapped. We don't know how to go about fixing this. All help is appreciated.

 

Apparently you can still order new ones from online GM parts sites. It's a funky shaped bar that pivots to rotate the headlight housing. Not expensive at all.

 

thank you! I've been looking on GM right now and we found the part... but its been discontinued (not suprised) so we probably will have to order it as a special order

I need one of those funky headlight door rods for my driver's side as well as passenger side on my 95 SC2. I guess the driver side is no longer available because everyone's got rusted and screwed up from the splash of oncoming traffic in the US.
