I have a 1996 SC2 and it leaks oil pretty goodonly when its warmed up itll start to leak. I got under the car to try and find the leak but couldn't pick it out. The only thing i noticed was that it leaks a around the tranny the most. Could it be a bad seal around the oil pan or is there a PCV valve or oil line that is in that vicinity that could have sprung a leak? ANY IDEAS??????

I'm spouting alot from my pulley seals (purely from years of the previous owner that gave the car no TLC) and it seems like it's coming from everywhere. So you may want to check your belt to see if it's throwing your oil somewhere that it's not actually leaking from.

Ive learned in the past few days that it only starts to leak when the car is warmed up (regular running temp). Would that spring anyother thoughts????

That would lead me to think it's a seal or a gasket that's either torn or warped. Or it could also be something not tightened down all the way...

Ok I found my leak and it worse than i expected it. Its coming from the clutch housing so im pretty sure its a crack in the tranny so its getting pulled tonight. And by the way does anyone know wat type of tranny oilto put in my manual tranny cuz autozone is trying to tell me that its Dexron III and i highly doubt that so is it 80-90 or is it really Dexron????
