Hood insulator

Anybody know what the hood insulator was made out of . I can’t seem to find one anywhere. & nobody seems to know if something else would fit or what I need to do. Any ideas?? I was thinking about making one?? Anybody? Anything? Please?!!& thank you! Mine is a 2002 Sc 3 door coupe & she’s blue!!

~~I got Lucky yesterday & actually found one at pick & Pull in San Jose. Thanks for the info I will keep that in mind if something happens to this one.~~
