Hey guys I had a 93 sc1 and I cut my springs and I can say that the ride was pretty crappy finally broke down and got some Eibachs and it did feel better to me. Plus when we cut the coil we cut it quarter at a time took a bit too much off and sometimes the spring would pop off the guide on the strut. Had about an inch and a half between my spring and tire. So I don't recomend it at all. Just break down and get them its worth it and way easy to put in.
