I have a 1997 Saturn SC1 with the single overhead cam motor in it. Right now the engine is blown and the most economically intelligent thing for me to do at this point is just to drop another engine in it. Now I looked at reliability ratings and the SC1 single overhead cam motor is more prone to the gasket on the head busting (what happened to mine) so I would rather drop an SC2 dual overhead cam motor in it. Is this possible? Will it run correctly just bolting in the other motor or do I need to change out half the car to get it to run right? Thanks

I've never done it myself with a saturn, but i've swaped other motors. Save ALL the wiring/sensors for the sc2 motorincluding the ECU. Not sure how hard it'll be but it's gotta be possible.
