S series: Not that I ever noticed untill I bought my ION, but the ION will blow your socks off then freeze your feet. This car has the coldest hardest blowing heat a/c of any car I've had. This thing will freeze you out when it's 115* here in the desert.

 

The s cars I've had had as good or better volume than most cars from it's era. I agree with sw that the ION may be the best A/C system of any car I've driven. Wait............it is the best A/C system in any car I've ever driven period.
