My mother creamed another deer in her 2004 ION, and i figured i would put out feelers for parts for it... It needs:

Both headlights
Both fenders
Hood
Bumper cover
Radiator
Possibly a coolant overflow bottle
Little plastic piece in lower part of bumper
Grille


I think thats all, lol... The car is undrivable as of two days ago...

 

ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm what year?

You might check with Hoseppi. He has a lot of parts, but I don't know what year any of his stuff is.

 

Might also look into some of them "whistlers" people put on their cars ... dunno if they work or not, but might be of some help to the deer population around your area ...

 

I think the "whistlers" actually attract the deer, OA. I live in a rural area of Tennessee, and I've seen a lot of vehicles at the local body shops with the "whistlers" on them that have hit deer. I was born and raised in this area and have been driving for over 40 years and have never had a set of them on any vehicle and have never hit a deer. Go figure, right?

 

Call a few local yards and see what they have.
