That’s interesting because I am looking for a 3:64 gear set from an F35 and I have an extra rod shifted 4:45 complete transmission. I also have a 4:05 complete cable shift F35 transmission.

If you wanna sell the 4.05 LNF guys would jump all over it for 3-600 depending in mileage and if its LSD

where you located? Might have a 3.63 in my saab is trade

The shorter gearing in the 4.45 is what the supercharged guys look for.
bang through the gears quicker, better 60s ft. Better 1/8th. Ect

The longer gearing is better for a turbo application where you wanna run the gears out to let the turbo spool and hit power.

Ever thought about boosting one of your Ls? They are tunable.

The 4.05 is complete and about 90,000 mile out of a 2005/6 Saab 9-3. I have never looked to see if it is a LSD. I can look in the axle holes and take a picture of the tag.
I am looking for fuel mileage not power hence the L61’s attraction. My car has way too low gears for me, I have been driving a Metro for many years before I moved to these cars. It is an occasional toad for my motorhome and I commute 60 miles a day round trip to work. Twice yesterday.
The extra 4:45 trans is strictly a spare for my car, it is looking for some freeway flier gears.
Saab 9-3 after 2003 is the source, the 06/7 and up had six speeds. Little t is low boost and T is high boost but they have Saab computers...

If it is an LSD it will say it right on the tag.

My saab is a 2003. Imma have to take a look. Can't find an exact answer because 03 is when they switched to the new bodystyle. So its like a crossbreed similar to my ion with the jbody.

The turbo on the saab is extremely small. Its the low out put. I can tell it was designed for mileage as the high output was power.

I don't see the big deal about LSD anyway. I've driven both versions of the f35 and didn't even notice there was a difference until I saw the tag. Haja

Crown wheel and intermediate shaft is much cheaper to ship. That is how the Metro/Swift people used to sell the different ratio parts.

I will trade a set of 4:45 for a set of 3:64, and pay the ride one way.
