Default 1993 SW2 Station Wagon 2nd Owner Low Miles Garaged

I got this at an estate sale a few years ago to use as a second car for winter driving or picking up large items that did not fit in my car. II have it licensed as a collector car with vintage plates and insure through Hagerty for less than $300 year. I very rarely used this car as it is my secondary vehicle. You can either license it as a collector car or regular registration. I bought a truck, so I no longer need this car, so I am not interested in any trades. The car has about 55,000 miles and the body and interior are in really great condition for a 32 year old car. I have all original paperwork including bill of sale, manuals and service. I have recently put 4 new tires on and Costco battery, drivers side mirror (have passenger side mirror-but not installed. Heat and A/C, radio and cassette all work great. Asking $3,500

The Good:
55,000 miles
Great body (no rust - lol)
Super clean interior
Heat/AC work great
Radio/Cassette work great
Collector Vehicle
New Tires
New Battery
New side mirrors
Always Garaged
All original paperwork, service records, bill of sale, manuals

The Bad:
Brake light is on - This was on when I purchased the vehicle. I took it to have them looked at right away. I was told that their was air in the brake lines and they blew them out. They could not read or reset the light due to the age of the car and not having an OBD 1 reader.
Sometimes it hesitates when accelerating - I took the car to a reputable transmission shop and they also could not read the codes because they did not have a code reader (they called around to other shops for help-no luck). They said they did not think it was a transmission issue, but a code issue.
The liner is sagging (see pictures)
Scuff marks at rear quarter panels (see pictures)
Mileage - the mileage stopped working at the shown 53,015. I am estimating the miles are 55k due to the number of times I filled the car with gas. I normally fill it with 11 gallons (small tank) and I get about 20mpg. I have filled up 5x since it stopped (have all gas receipts). I have not had this issue looked at as I figured I would have the same issue with needing an OBD 1 reader and because this is not my main mode of transportation.

This is a really good dependable car with some minor fixes. If you can get your hands on an OBD reader and/or code repair manuals some of these issues can be resolved

This is a nice car. It must have been outside during the hot times. The decay of the headliner glue is due to heat.
The brake is electrical and not a scan tool reset. That's no problem and taking out the headliner is no big deal although it may take a few hours to do.
To bad you are on the other side of the country. I'm just starting to look for a low mileage classic to purchase.

I should clarify, I have had it garaged the whole time I have owned it, which is 3.5 years. Thank you for your input.

Sweet ride.
I'll be surprised if you get anything close to 1200 for it based simply on supply, demand, and what the market is willing to pay for this particular vehicle.. even with inflated used car pricing the way it is, that's a pretty steep ask.

Change the ects and associated pigtail to address that hesitation in acceleration.

Reading OBD1 codes is done with a paperclip, crossing the A&b pins of the aldl. You then watch the service engine soon light and count the groups of long and short pulses of the light. Code 12 should flash three times at the very beginning and the very end of the overall flash sequence. If this is all you get, then there are no other codes stored. Each code is flashed three times in a row if present. 12 is flash.....flashflash, and so on. The details are in a post on this site and all over the internet. So are the code definitions.

My guess with the brake light is that either the fluid level sensor is sensing a true low brake fluid level in the reservoir, the sensor is defective, the wiring to the sensor or connect your is damaged, or the switch past which the emergency brake slides is out of alignment or broken. Just trying to help you cross some things off the list that would perturb potential buyers.
