Unc hasn't posted in over 3 months if memory serves me correctly.
Tried texting his cell phone --no response.
I thought we were all quite supportive when his wife passed, and we know that 94SC1 was a treasure trove of memories for both of them.
He put 100's of hours into that car to restore it to its former glory.
He was the stubborn old geezer you loved to argue with because he knew his s h i t .

I was just wondering about him the other day, derf. I used to have his # but lost it. I guess it doesn't really matter though, since he doesn't respond to you . I just hope nothing happened to him. IIRC, he's in Peoria, AZ. Any members close to there that could check on him?

 

I still have his phone number but will not use it.
If he does not wish to chat on our forum, that's up to him. Seems like the kind of guy who would have said goodbye after so many years, but given the likely depression that set in with his wife's passing, I must say I'm not surprised he doesn't visit the site due to the memories it evokes. I just felt like conversing with him, seeing how he is doing, etc.
Not quite the same without him.

 

I don't think he and Valerie were married, derf, but I could be wrong. You should call him. Just tell him that you and some of the rest of us would like to know he's okay, that's all. Don't suggest he come back to the forum. If he wants to, he will. Did you ever hear from Billy?

 

I thought I remembered a 50+ year statement sometime, but this is not the place to discuss anyone's personal life in their absence.
No I never got a response from Billy. Prob blocked my number but I'm thinking he must have a new cell phone by now so I doubt he remembered to block me again.
Haven't spoken w Mandee in many months since she trimmed me out of her life with alot of other people with no reason and no warning. Said it was to simplify her life. Whatever.
Maybe I'll call Unc sometime.

I think Billy did pose as an older woman on the forum. One from Texas with ECTS and other problems, having all sorts of life troubles. I went along with it assuming it was real, but if it wasn't, and it was him, it was the best damn detailed non contradictory portrayal of another person totally unlike themselves I've ever witnessed in my life.
