I was looking at the member list and it only showed 198. This is a little strange to me as the Geometroforum has 18,000. I see you drop deadbeat members without 10 posts.

Joe runs a tight ship.
1)Join, don't post, get banned for inactivity
2)Join, post once (wham bam thank you ma'am), vanish, get banned for inactivity and not being polite enough to come back and say "thank you"
3)Join, post a few questions and responses, then peter out before ten posts in a reasonable amount of time, get banned for inactivity
4)Join, post questions that are written in such damaged english they cannot be understood, get banned for "huh?"
5)join, post a question that demonstrates you are so thoroughly inept that you can't even ask a coherent question that we might have been able to answer, get banned for being a moron.
6)Join, post, get to 10 posts, member for life, no circumcision required.

We are an active group of posters, and we like it that way.
Do you have to post and comment on everything every day? No. Just get past 10. Which I think you did in the last hour

I can't answer any questions about paint, Andy. But I'm sure some of the other 196 members can.

I only need to repair the paint on the drivers door. My body shop buddy said he will check a yard in Portland that has a silver L series car. He said the door skin just bolts on, I also need a rear view mirror for that same door. I will let you know what we find out.

Yeah, the door skins unbolt from the L series. The doors do too, but I wouldn't recommend changing the entire door, as it's a big pain, and that's not counting the electronics... I do still have some L series stuff lurking around, but not anything on the door...

red paint is the fastest paint .
