Greetings Saturn Forum, just thought I would go on a little expression of concern on the topic of some forums...

I've been noticing some, at least the few that I've been browsing, seem to be falling/fall/fell into states of neglect; plagued with spam bots (of which sometimes show probably illegal stuff) which are very annoying, and jam up the topics on them. Two examples I can think of were Saturnalia (RIP) and ToyotaMinis (for Toyota Minitrucks from the 50s-00s) which is very annoying and unfortunate to suffer a fate like that, just a slow degradation until it's gone!

ToyotaVanTech, for Previas and pre-Sienna wagons, is still maintained comparatively well in contrast, if only ToyotaMinis had that level of active admins too!

I'm concerned with Toyota Minis, as this forum hosts lots of valuable and historic info on those beloved Toyota trucks you might occasionally see putting around; primarily, I plan on keeping this well into my adulthood and I would love to be cemented with positivity of it not suffering the same fate as Saturnalia...

Anyone here mayhaps have some thoughts on this? Just a concern of mine in the back of my head...

 

Well, it seems my beloved ToyotaMinis has fallen into neglect. Endless spam from different flavors of bots: something about cable TV, law enterprises, "i'm new here" repeated for 100+!!! pages.

Now I need to seek refuge for my lil' 'yota elsewhere... shame too, that place has been around since ~2008 but fell to neglect

 

We don't intend to go down that road

 

Thankfully that seems so. Too bad this isn't a Toyota forum or I would have fully migrated by now!
