Cool Sky Hood Craziness

Think I mentioned I had a fender bender on the way back to San Diego (Murphy's Law) not a day after I picked up my beautiful little black with red and black leather '08 redline in Seattle. The biggest nightmare was finding a decent hood as the front of mine was a bit crunched. They are apparently packed so poorly for delivery that they come in bent, dented, and warped. After receiving 4 of them we finally got one we could work to get straight enough. Never ends does it!

Should have specifically ordered a straight one in the first place.

I would normally say check a junk yard, but if I found a sky at the junk yard, well, Topanga would probably get a heart transplant to the LNF. And I would have pretty seats as well. Lmfao

It is such a shame how poorly people ship things, but ill spend forever packing something when I sell parts to make sure it makes it there perfectly.

Cool Hood Crazyness

I hear all these hoods were stamped out in Michigan somewhere, sent to 2 or 3 distributors across the country and meted out from there. Packaging is so bad and they're thrown on trucks with God knows what else and with little or no care. Repair shops get them in bent, warped and dinged. Hey.. Insurance is paying for it.. just a sad situation and a time consumer!!
