SC2 Totalled
cheez whiz you got pegged
glad you're ok
thank the lord for crumple zones
saturn headrests are not the best --- keep an eye out for neck pain as the others have said..it may take time to creep in. Same with back.

wow sorry to hear about this. I normally only get on here when Im at work for some reason. I had off about 7 days so Im just seeing this. Good to hear all is well and you arent injured! Good luck with finding your new one!
Im fine and i havent had any pain or complications. My car has already been taken to a collision yard and deemed a "total loss" im not sure if i can go and take parts out of it since i still had a few payments left on the car. If i find out otherwise ill be sure to let you know
You don't get to be 70+ and hang around cars during that time and not see or have a few accidents.
That one is a pip! And the best thing is you seem to be alright. But then again, looking at it reminds me of two things, the number of times I went into a dealer and saw a mock up Saturn on the floor with body panel's removed showing the strength of the inner shell of the car. Hype or not, it had the inner-structure of a baby tank covered by a thin skin. And my 87 Pontiac Fiero that my second wife was involved with in 3 accidents and you would take the bent car to a shop, pull it straight and re-skin it. Good to go!
The car there look like, well, nothing you want to drive in however, except for the trunk lid bent up most of the visible damage in that picture that looks pure awful is broken skin damage.
Cosmetic plastic to make the car look good and broken glass. I'm not saying it didn't take a shot. I am saying you walked away. I have never been an advocate of purchasing something touted to be representative of safety or economy. Personally I buy looks. But it still is impressive that something could get hit as hard as it did, you got out and walked and the car? Looks as if you rip off the broken plastic might have been able to drive it home.
